(As our farm is affectionately known as)
I have a weak spot for the elderly minis. Several have joined our herd over the years to ensure a permanent home in their retirement. These special horses will remain as part of our family for the rest of their lives.
These are our beloved resident minis aged over 20 yrs old.

        Monashee's Black Beauty
   Born: Jan 1, 1976
    AMHR Age 34 yrs

         Monteith's Dixie
     Born:  April 10, 1982
              AMHA Age 28 yrs
Dixie is a gorgeous mare, even as she shows tell tale signs of age with her greying face.
She is one of my favorite broodmares.
She is the dam of my special little show mare, Seabloom Coloured In Crayon.

     Exotic Angel
      "Ringo"
       AMHA/AMHR/MHAC
              Born April 11, 1986
              age 24 yrs
"Ringo" is a terrific example of the versatile Miniature Horse.
     He loves to drive, has a great temperament & is a looker to boot!

Old MacDonalds Bunny
"Bunny"
AMHA/AMHR/PtHA/MHAC
Born: 1982
age: 28 yrs
"Bunny"is still a little energizer in his senior years. He has an impressive show record including
PtHA Miniature of the Year in 1986, 1987, & 1988
He is enjoying his retirement here and we are happy to see Bunny home for good!
 
 

       Just Daphne
             AMHA
            Born April 9, 1981
             Age 29 yrs
 Daphne is part of our family here, though she is owned by June and Dennis Jack of
Dogwood Acres.
She also has a very impressive AMHA show record in driving and halter. Dam of a National champion driving horse.
She is enjoying her retirement with lots of love and attention.  Daphne is loved just as much as my own.

Born: May 6, 1989
Age 21 years
Cameo is our foundation mare.
Definitely a favorite here, as she has been with us all of her life.

DA's Fortnight
"Fortnight"
(Dogwood Acres Satans Spirit x Just Sapphire)

Born: August 10, 1990
Age 20 years
Fortnight was my first stallion. His offspring have always had wonderful personalities and great conformation. A  strikingly handsome fellow with his thick, long mane which makes everyone look twice.
He was shown a few times and brought home some blue ribbons.

V's Spotted Fever
"Spotty"
(Comanche Chief x Shady Lady)
AMHA/AMHR
Born:  , 1990
Age 20 years
Spotty is a sensational show horse. Only shown locally, he won Champion open pleasure driving and
Grand Champion in Miniature halter. A real Gentleman to handle.

We have several other teenagers soon to follow onto this page.
