Welcome to Seabloom Mini Ranch!
We raise Miniature Horses and Newfoundland Dogs, in the South Cariboo region of British Columbia.  We perodically have registered minis as well as CKC Newfoundland puppies for sale to approved homes.
We do driving demonstrations, a little showing, as well as educational displays
put on at our Country Fair each year. This helps teach people about
Miniature Horses and gives an opportunity for everyone of all ages to pet
the minis and ask questions. We enjoy them so much and love to see others
have fun with them too. We also have farm visitors come to visit our
beautiful Newfoundland dogs and our Miniature Horses.

Here is Sadie pictured modelling a stylish coat. Her thick coat is warm enough without it.
She may be expecting puppies near the end of February, 2012.

Our Newfoundland dogs are a very BIG part of our family. They have us wrapped around their big paws. They live in the house with us and love to be with us outside too. We have 6 ranging in ages 3 yrs to 7 yrs. Pictured below is Maggie, as usual, carrying a stuffed toy with her. Maggie and Grizzly have ONE puppy born January 31, 2012

A little about us.... We have a large collection of Miniature Horses in a rainbow of colours. Many rescues and special needs and geriatrics make up a large number of our special Miniature Horse Sanctuary. We raise a few foals each year to offer for sale to help support the needy ones. This is not a funded rescue. Just a hobby and Mini sanctuary. They bring us much joy. Our 2011 Foals arrived  in a rainbow of colours! As we need to cut back our numbers a little, we only have one foal expected in 2012.

Meet Willow

Picture
Meet Willow. Every barn needs a cat. Willow is one of the many abandoned kitties
which have shown up for a free meal. She had been seen for years, but never came
close. The summer of 2010 she moved into the barn and had a litter of four kittens. It didn't take long for her to make friends and now she is spayed and happy to be pampered with the freedom to come and go as she pleases. She seems to prefer to hang out with me while I do chores. Willow can be seen lounging on top of the hay bales with a good view of everything, snuggled into her cozy bed.
