Seabloom Newfoundlands

Meet "Gander", our handsome neutered boy

Seabloom Gander

Welcome home Gander!

Gander is a really special boy. He was born Dec. 22, 2004. He is very smart & sweet natured.
He came home after his family could no longer keep him.
He was available for adoption, but now he is home to stay.
We just love him, but had felt he would enjoy more individual attention in a loving home with fewer dogs.
But, Gander has let us know that he is happiest here.

Gander  likes a stay at home Mum or Dad, a fenced yard & has access to the house with his humans. He is very affectionate & a couch potato inside, but can be very agile outside, especially if he is excited.  He loves car rides & going for walks.
He is good with our Miniature Horses. But, he was not raised with cats, so chases them if they run.
Gander loves children and stuffed toys. He is a very happy and loving Newfoundland.

He had a cruciate injury at almost age 2 yrs and had a surgery on it at that time. He is a healthy and happy boy. He needs regular exercise to keep him in fit condition.
He is very well behaved and is a pleasure to have in our home.

He was originally taught to drink from the toilet & likes his fresh flushed water. He is quite insistant that we flush it if a little doggie slime is in it. He does not care to share a water dish or bucket with the other dogs, even placed near the toilet.

Gander is very smart & will whine or try to talk to communicate what he wants or what one of the other dogs wants. He has such a super personality and is quite a character.

He likes to babysit our newborn puppies & sleep next to their bed all night. If a puppy cries, he is instantly there, checking on them. He loves to sleep with his pillow and will pack it with him to wherever he lies down.

We welcome Gander back into our family.
